Sumptuous Swell - Cascade now releases bursts of water from you and your Zephyrs that damage enemies.

Blessed Ashet - Cascade now also increases your movement speed by 40% for a duration when it hits an enemy.

Note: This essence is great for speed farming because it has 40% increased movement speed when it hits an enemy.

Shoulders

Shell Clasp - Stormfury now surrounds you dealing damage, pulling enemies in, and increasing your movement speed.

Note: Using Stormfury with this essence gives 30% increased movement speed at all times.

Mistwalkers - Breaker now causes you to be untargetable and can dash four times damaging enemies it passes through.​

Note: Breaker with this essence allow you to have four dashes with your high increased movement speed.

1. Gloomguide's Prize (4 Set) - Increases your damage and critical hit chance for three seconds after using a dash.

2. Vithu's Urges (2-4 Set) - Increases the duration of beneficial effects by 30% and the four set increases attack speed.

3. Isatar Imbued (2 Set) - This two set can be used for speed farming to increase your movement speed on kills.​​​​​

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduced damage taken below 50% life, and increased movement speed.

2. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

3. Leviathan Tomb - Increases your damage for a duration and makes critical hits increase its damage bonus.

4. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, temporary knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

5. Haunt Coil - Increases your damage in offensive stance or reduces your damage taken in defensive stance.

6. Blood Floe - A strong five star gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

7. Void Spark - Deals very high AoE damage and increases your attack speed during its effect.

8. Bottled Hope - Used for speed farming to increase your damage and movement speed when you use a buff skill.

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and fires a blood spike at an enemy that makes them bleed.

3. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

4. Specter Glass - Increases enemies' damage taken after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

5. Fervent Fang - A solid gem that gives enemies a stacking damage taken increase when they're hit by your attacks.

6. Mourneskull - This legacy gem can be used to increase your damage and deal damage but it no longer drops.

7. Viper's Bite - A nice gem for early on that deals high damage over time which can kill opponents after a cheat death.

Note: Pain Clasp and Mother's Lament are the top two 2 star gems and should be replaced by a five star gem last.

Best 1 Star Starter Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken by 5%.

2. Entropic Well - A great one star legendary gem that increases your skill damage and increases your attack speed.

3. Blessed Pebble - A great budget gem that increases beneficial effects durations and increases your movement speed.

4. Everlasting Torment - This one star gem deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

5. Havoc Bearer - Increases your damage and attack speed after using a dash skill for 2 seconds on a 6 second cooldown.

Note: Berserker's Eye is a huge damage increase and is better than most five star gems unless you have trouble surviving.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The Duskprowler should be made legendary for 170+ Resilience which lowers the cooldown of Savior.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong in PvP because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They're also capable of having 170+ Resilience to reduce the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior and great passive skills as a budget option.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Relentless Strikes is the next best passive skill because it gives a chance to cast the Duskprowler shield twice. Innervate gives a chance at resetting one of the player's skill cooldowns, Steel Hide gives a chance to block, Precision gives critical hit chance, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and prioritize Topazes for resistances which lowers harmful effects durations on you in yellow sockets. You should also use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires for increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You should also use your bound Citrines which gives potency and Rubies which give life to create one or two of each gem and use them if they give higher refinement. Gems give refinement based on their gem quality and refinement increases attributes on the equipment the gems are socketed in.

Gem Notes

The new Leviathan Tomb five star gem is a solid legendary gem that makes the top eight five star legendary gems. Bottled Hope is great on Tempests especially for speed farming because it gives increased movement speed and cooldown reduction. The Blood Floe five star gem is a great option when it's combined with several sources of increased critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine gem is also excellent for this build because it increases your skill damage, gives temporary knockback immunity, and gives increased movement speed from its size increase.​
