Isolated Storm - Lightning Nova now creates lightning orbs that orbit you dealing damage to nearby enemies.

Raptor's Tail - When Disintegrate hits a Shocked enemy it releases chain lightning on enemies.

Recommended Sets

1. Vithu's Urges (2-4 Set) - Increases the duration of your beneficial effects by 30% and increases your attack speed.

2. Grace of the Flagellant (4 Set) - Deals bonus damage every 5 times you hit an enemy, and deals damage on cooldown.

3. Untouchable Mountebank (PvP 2 Set) - Gives a chance to give an absorb shield when you're damaged.

Note: Look for blue sockets on both of your rings so that you can socket them with Sapphires which give Armor Penetration.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.​

3. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, temporary knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

4. Bottled Hope - Increases your damage and movement speed when you use a buff skill on cooldown.

5. Blood Floe - A solid five star gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

6. Hellbound Desire - Increases damage and movement speed with bonus damage for a six second duration.

7. Leviathan Tomb (PvM) - Increases your damage for a duration and makes critical hits increase its damage bonus.

8. Frozen Heart (PvP) - Gives an absorb shield and chills opponents which lowers their attack and movement speed.

9. Void Spark (PvM) - Deals massive AoE damage that's very effective for dungeons, terror rifts, and speed farming.

10. Seeping Bile (PvP) - Gives a chance to deal high damage over time and slows opponents' movement speed.

Note: Seeping Bile explodes with the Death's Release legendary skill which can kill opponents after cheat deaths.

 

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and releases a blood spike that causes enemies to bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives a stacking damage increase and increases your damage against elites and bosses.

5. Power & Command - Alternates between increased skill damage and increased primary damage and sometimes dispels.

6. Viper's Bite - This damage over time gem is strong early on and it deals great damage at low resonance levels.

7. Igneous Scorn - Deals damage on critical hits and increases your damage after critical hits. Igneous Scorn is the lowest priority two star gem and should be the first two star gem to be replaced with a five star gem.

8. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Note: Pain Clasp is the best two star gem for damage and Crimson Behelit is the best two star gem for PvP.

Best Starter 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye (PvM) - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - A great one star legendary gem that increases your skill damage and increases your attack speed.

​3. Everlasting Torment - A strong budget gem that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases attack speed.

4. Surging Sea - A lower priority one star legendary gem that has a skill damage increase that stacks up to 10 times.

5. Faltergrasp (PvP) - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical strikes and greatly reduces their movement speed.

6. Respite Stone (PvP) - A strong PvP one star gem that reduces damage taken and increases your block chance.

Note: Berserker's Eye is a great one star legendary gem that requires a ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience is important for lowering the cooldown of Savior. The Tenacity passive is great because it lowers the Duskprowler's shield cooldown. The Lingering Wounds passive increases your damage but it only works on a Duskprowler if you also have the Ignition passive which gives a chance to burn enemies.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills as a budget option.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Guardian is the next best familiar passive because it heals you when you drop below 50% life. Innervate can reset one of the player's cooldowns, Phalanx increases your damage and defenses, Precision gives critical hit chance to the familiar, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also desirable passives.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and use your highest refinement Citrines and Topaz in yellow sockets which give potency and resistances. You should use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can also optionally combine all of your bound Rubies which give life and socket them into your equipment if they give higher refinement. Normal gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement is used to increase the attributes on the pieces of equipment the gems are socketed in.

Gem Notes

The Hellbound Desire and Blood-Soaked Jade five star gems are important for this build for increased movement speed. The fairly new Leviathan's Tomb five star gem deals more damage than the Fated Trail five star gem on almost every build. The Blood Floe five star gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine five star gem is great for increased skill damage, area of effect, movement speed (from its size increase), and it gives temporary knockback immunity. When using multiple increased critical hit chance legendary gems you should consider rolling increased critical hit damage on your equipment for more damage. If you plan on using this build in PvP keep in mind that it fights close up. For PvP, you should switch a low priority legendary gem to a Frozen Heart five star gem for an absorb shield that chills opponents which lowers their attack speed and movement speed.​
