Diablo Immortal: The Speed Farm Barbarian Build

Main Hand

Lion's Mane - Demoralize now triggers all damage over time on the target instantly. This causes damage over time effects to trigger their full duration instead of just refreshing their duration when you hit enemies.​

Off-Hand

Sundered Legacy - Wrath of the Berserker now causes nearby enemies to burn and increases your movement speed.

Main Hand 2

Iron Tusk - Demoralize now also gives increased critical hit chance when it hits an enemy.

Off-Hand 2

Promised Sunrise - Demoralize now also increases your attack and movement speed.

Helmet

Whirling Howl - Demoralize now empowers your steps with AoE wind damage.

Shoulders

Hydra's Maw - Sunder now empowers your steps with AoE fire damage.

Thundering Heart (PvM) - Sunder now increases your attack speed stacking up to four times.

Steel Gospel (PvP) - Sunder now also can be used when under the effect of loss of control and/or knockback removing any harmful effects and grants immunity to these effects for 0.5 seconds.​

Snowdrifter (PvM) - Sprint now greatly increases your movement speed for a long duration and gives a stacking chill.

Trail of Mourning (PvP) - Sunder now also pulls enemies in.

Note: Potency from Willpower increases the duration of damage over time effects which are instantly triggered on this build.

Recommended Sets

1. Angmet's Conflagration (4 Set) - Deals high damage over time which is instantly triggered by the Lion's Mane essence.

2. Vithu's Urges (2 Set) - Increases your beneficial effects durations by 30% (all of your skills are beneficial effects).

3. Feasting Baron's Pack (2 Set) - Increases the duration of your harmful effects by 30% (which are triggered instantly).

Note: Look for yellow sockets on both of your rings and socket them with Citrines for more Potency. You should look for increased beneficial effects duration on your waist and boots slots to reach 100% uptime on Wrath of the Berserker.

Recommended Skill Enchants

1. Wrath of the Berserker skill enchants give you a chance to deal damage around you every 0.5 seconds.

2. Sunder skill enchants generate an additional Shockwave on Sunder activation that damages nearby enemies.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.​

3. Leviathan Tomb - Increases your damage for a duration and makes critical hits increase the damage bonus.

4. Fated Trail - Deals damage over time as a percentage of your life, shatters enemies' armor, and immobilizes enemies.

5. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

6. Blood Floe - Lower priority 5 star gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

7. Hellbound Desire - Increases damage and movement speed with bonus damage for a six second duration.

8. Void Spark (PvM) - Deals massive AoE damage that's effective for challenge dungeons, terror rifts, and speed farming.

9. ​Haunt Coil (PvP) - Greatly reduces your damage taken when you are in a defensive stance for a duration.

Note: This build isn't recommended for PvP but PvP five star legendary gem options are still included.

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and causes a blood spike that makes enemies bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Increases your damage when you hit an enemy stacking up to ten times.​

5. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage and deals damage but it's currently drop disabled.

6. Viper's Bite - A nice gem for early on that deals high damage over time if you have low legendary gems and resonance.

7. Igneous Scorn - Deals damage on critical hits and increases your damage after critical hits. Igneous Scorn is the lowest priority two star gem and should be the first to be replaced with a ranked up five star gem.​

8. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Note: The Viper's Bite gem isn't needed to trigger Pain Clasp because this build already has damage over time effects. Pain Clasp, Mother's Lament, and Specter Glass are the top 3 two star gems and they should be replaced last.

Best Starter 1 Star Legendary Gems

​1. Misery Elixir - The best 1 star for this build that increases the duration of your DoTs which are instantly triggered.

2. Berserker's Eye - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.​

3. Entropic Well - A strong one star legendary gem that increases your skill damage and increases your attack speed.

4. Everlasting Torment - Deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

5. Surging Sea - A lower priority one star legendary gem that has a skill damage increase that stacks up to 10 times.

6. Faltergrasp (PvP) - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical strikes and greatly reduces their movement speed.

Note: Misery Elixir is a powerful one star gem because of instant DoTs on this build so it should be replaced last.​

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience legendary Duskprowler with the Savior passive which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience is important for lowering the cooldown of Savior. The Tenacity passive is great to lower the Duskprowler's shield cooldown. The Lingering Wounds passive can be used for increased damage but it only works on a Duskprowler if you also have the Ignition passive which burns enemies over time.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - Look for any familiar with great passive skills and Savior which gives a cheat death. Savior can be used to buy time for other cheat deaths like the Undying Rage Barbarian skill and the Gladiator paragon.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Guardian is the next best familiar passive because it can heal you when you drop below 50% life. Innervate can reset one of the player's cooldowns, Phalanx increases your damage and defenses, Precision gives critical hit chance to the familiar, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also all desirable.

​Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and Citrines for potency to increase harmful effects durations in yellow sockets which are both important for this build. You can combine all of your bound Rubies which give life and use one in a red socket if it gives higher refinement. Refinement is determined by the quality of the gem and it increases the attributes of the gear the gem is socketed in. You can use one or two of your highest refinement Topazes for resistances early on but you will eventually want to make the switch to just Citrines for higher potency. The full duration of your damage over time will be instantly triggered on this build so potency is a major damage increase. You should also socket your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets.

Gem Notes

The Blood-Soaked Jade and Hellbound Desire five star gems are important for this build for increased movement speed. The Fated Trail five star gem is a strong legendary gem once you have high maximum life which is increased with Vitality and resonance. The fairly new Leviathan's Tomb five star gem deals more damage than Fated Trail on nearly every build. The Blood Floe gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of increased critical hit chance and critical hit damage. The Colossus Engine gem gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, increased movement speed (from its size increase), and temporary knockback immunity. When using multiple increased critical hit chance legendary gems you should also consider rolling critical hit damage on every piece of gear with Reforge Stones for more damage.​​
