Diablo Immortal: The New PvP Blood Knight Build

Abomination Blood Knight Skills and Equipment:

Main Hand

Five-Finger Spear (PvM) - Whirling Strike now causes primary attacks to deal extra damage and makes enemies bleed.

Maw and Response (PvP) - Whirling Strike now counterattacks and heals you for a portion of the damage done.

Off-Hand

Grimhound - Abomination now also increases your damage the longer you remain near the enemy.

Note: The Awakened effect for the Grimhound essence also increases your damage in Abomination form by 10%.

Main Hand 2​

Exquisite Silence (PvM) - Ravage now also causes enemies to Bleed over three seconds.

Mangler's Grove (PvP) - Abomination now increases your attack speed based on how much life you have remaining.

Off-Hand 2

Fiendish Memento - Activating Abomination increases your damage. After Abomination your movement speed is increased.

Helmet

Fallen Light (PvM) - Mephitic Cloud now follows you dealing high damage to enemies inside its area of effect.

Blood Feast (PvP) - Mephitic Cloud now follows you dealing damage to nearby enemies and drains the life of enemies.​

Blood-Soaked Hood (Raid) - Mephitic Cloud now increases your attack speed, movement speed, and damage each time you hit a Bleeding enemy which is automatically triggered with the Five-Finger Spear weapon essence.

Note: The Blood-Soaked Hood essence makes this Abomination build also deal high single target damage in raids.

Chest

Unchained Fury (PvM) - Abomination (Shattering Fists) now charges and increases critical hit damage taken by enemies.

Skin Upon Steel (PvP) - Transfusion makes life drain instead increase its shield and is automatically activated at low life.

Shoulders

Tameless Revelry (PvM) - Abomination now no longer consumes anger and gives increased damage and life drain.

Anchored Agony (PvP) - Abomination now consumes life and slows enemies but heals you when you deal damage.​​​

Note: The Anchored Agony essence automatically triggers the counterattack from the Maw and Response essence.

Legs

Crushed Pity (PvM) - Abomination gains an additional skill that damages enemies and makes you immune to knockback and losses of control while also causing primary attacks to deal additional damage.

Twin Omens (PvP) - Abomination gains the Crimson Claw skill which pulls enemies into you and prevents their dash skills.​

Note: The Twin Omens essence is recommended for PvP to knock enemies off idols and to draw in enemies that run away.

1. Gloomguide's Prize (4 Set) - Greatly increases critical hit chance for three seconds after using a dash skill.

2. Vithu's Urges (2-4 Set) - Increases the duration of your beneficial effects by 30% and gives an attack speed increase.

3. Untouchable Mountebank (2 Set PvP) - Gives a chance to gain an absorb shield when you are damaged.​​​​

Note: Look for blue sockets on both of your rings for Sapphires or Aquamarines which give Armor Penetration or Armor.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Hellbound Desire - Increases damage and movement speed with bonus damage for a six second duration.

3. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.​

4. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, knockback immunity, and increased size (which increases your movement speed) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

5. Blood Floe - A solid five star gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

6. Fated Trail (PvM)- Deals damage as a percentage of your life, shatters enemies' armor, and immobilizes enemies.

7. Golden Firmament (PvP) - A solid gem for tank builds that attacks with wind blades and increases your evasion rating.

8. Leviathan Tomb (PvM) - Increases your damage for a duration and makes critical hits increase the damage bonus.

9. Haunt Coil (PvP) - Useful in offensive and defensive stance to increase damage or reduce damage taken for a duration.

10. Wulfheort (PvM)- After damaging enemies 5 times you slash them and increase attack speed for you and your allies.

11. ​Frozen Heart (PvP) - A strong legendary gem for PvP that gives an absorb shield and it chills opponents.​

Note: You can switch stances in PvP for the buff and shield when using Haunt Coil for better offenses and defenses.

 

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and fires a blood spike at an enemy that makes them bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after you score a critical hit and increases critical hit chance.​

4. Viper's Bite - Poisons enemies on cooldown which also triggers the damage increase on the Pain Clasp two star gem.

5. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy two star gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

6. War Herald (PvP) - This gem increases your damage and gives an absorb shield after you lose a total of 100% life.

7. Stubborn Oracle (PvP) - Greatly increases your block chance for opponents that are in front of you for a duration.

8. Battleguard (PvP) - Greatly reduces your damage taken against opponents that are within three yards.

Note: Pain Clasp is the best PvM two star legendary gem and Crimson Behelit is the best PvP two star legendary gem.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye - Increases all of your damage and critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Entropic Well - An excellent budget one star gem with increased skill damage and increased attack speed.

3. Everlasting Torment - A great budget option that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

4. Surging Sea - A lower priority one star legendary gem that has a skill damage increase that stacks up to 10 times.

5. Faltergrasp (PvP) - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical strikes and greatly reduces their movement speed.

6. Respite Stone (PvP) - Strong defensive one star PvP gem that reduces damage taken and increases your block chance.

Note: Berserker's Eye is a great one star legendary gem and requires a high ranked up 5 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience Duskprowler with the Savior passive which gives a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar can lower the cooldown of Savior from 75 seconds to 60 seconds but only Duskprowlers and Ash Sweepers can have 170+ Resilience. The Tenacity passive is strong for lowering the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield and the Guardian passive is great for healing in PvP. Lingering Wounds which increases your damage can only be used on Duskprowlers if you have the Ignition passive skill which burns enemies.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong for PvP because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for three seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills as an alternative.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Guardian is the next best familiar passive because it provides healing when you drop below 50% life. Steel Hide occasionally gives increased block chance, Phalanx increases your damage and defenses, Precision gives critical hit chance to the familiar, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also all desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

You should use Tourmalines for added damage in PvM and Rubies for increased life in PvP in red sockets and use both Citrines and Topazes for potency and resistances in yellow sockets for the highest refinement. Potency increases harmful effects durations on enemies and resistances decrease harmful effects durations on you. You should also use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires which give increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. Normal gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement increases the attributes on the equipment the gems are socketed in.

Gem Notes

The Haunt Coil five star gem does well on this build in PvP when you switch stances which gives an absorb shield, more damage, and damage reduction. The fairly new Leviathan's Tomb five star gem deals more damage than the older Fated Trail five star gem on almost every build. Golden Firmament is a great five star gem for tank builds in PvP because it deals its own damage and as an added bonus it increases your evasion. The Colossus Engine five star gem is strong because it gives increased skill damage, area of effect, movement speed (from its size increase), and temporary knockback immunity. The Blood Floe five star gem is also a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of increased critical hit chance and increased critical hit damage. When using increased critical hit chance legendary gems you should also consider rolling critical hit damage on your equipment with Reforge Stones for more damage. A lower priority legendary gem should also be switched to the Frozen Heart five star legendary gem for PvP for an absorb shield and it chills your opponents.​
