Diablo Immortal: The PvP Ranged Warlock Build

PvP Spiteful Sacrifice & Soulgorger Warlock Guide

This build is recommended as the best ranged attacking PvP Warlock because it deals high damage from a distance with a recastable 120k life absorb shield when using the Burning Ascent dash skill. The build uses the Hellfire Bolt primary attack with Spiteful Sacrifice, Burning Ascent, Siphon Life, and Warp Strike. Spiteful Sacrifice fires swords at nearby enemies, Warp Strike stuns opponents, increases their damage taken, increases the damage of your Soulgorger minion, and reduces your Soulgorger minion's damage taken. Siphon Life gives a large 30% life heal when you take damage five times, increases your damage, increases your attack speed, and increases your movement speed, and Burning Ascent gives a long ranged dash skill that can dash out of fights while also granting a 120k life shield and immunity to total loss of control.

Paragons & Legendary Skills: PvP Spiteful Sacrifice Warlock Build

1. Slinger is the best damage paragon because it increases your damage based on how far away you are from enemies.

2. Gladiator is the best PvP paragon tree for this build because it gives a cheat death and it helps with losses of control.

3. Vanquisher is the best paragon tree for magic find and can give increased damage and increased attack speed on kills.

4. Harbinger can be used in Erebban for an absorb shield, movement speed, and to move unhindered through enemies.

5. Survivor is recommended in Vanguard when you have a low charm because it has a cheat death that works in Vanguard.

6. The best legendary skill is Lightning Rod for damage and Benefactor for PvP which gives you and your allies a shield.

7. Below you can find an image for the best paragon for damage and the second image is the best paragon for PvP.

Note: The Benefactor legendary skill is important because it shields both you and your Soulgorger which helps keep it alive.

Main Hand

Clawing End - Siphon Life gives a 30% life heal and increased attack speed and damage after taking damage five times.

Note: The Clawing End essence allows you to have 35% increased movement speed when also using the Giltjagg essence.

Off-Hand

Iron Reins - Warp Strike now makes your Soulgorger leap at enemies stunning them and increasing their damage taken.

Main Hand 2

Harsh Discipline - Burning Ascent now dashes dealing damage while you are untargetable breaking free of total loss of control and silence effects while also granting a huge absorb shield.

Off-Hand 2

Cruel Destination - Spiteful Sacrifice's critical hit chance is increased each time you take damage stacking up to 5 times.

Helmet

Giltjagg - Siphon Life now also increases your movement speed by 35% for as long as it's active.

Chest

Heretic Pride - Warp Strike now also greatly increases the damage of your Soulgorger and reduces its damage taken.

Note: This essence keeps your Soulgorger alive and it's combined with the next essence to buff your Soulgorger minion.

Shoulders

Living Armory - Your Soulgorger minion has increased critical hit chance each time it's damaged stacking up to 5 times.

Legs

Measured Halves - Spiteful Sacrifice now channels a sword attack at enemies that can be used while moving.

Recommended Sets

1. Restitution in Blood (4 Set) - Increases damage and deals damage to enemies with greater effect as their life decreases.

2. Vithu's Urges (4 Set) - Increases the duration of your beneficial effects and increases attack speed when you use a buff.

Recommended Attribute Priority (PvP)

1. Fortitude (Armor/Armor Penetration)

2. Intelligence (Primary/Skill Damage)

3. Vitality (Maximum Life)

4. Willpower (Potency/Resistances)

Skill Enchants

1. The Burning Ascent skill enchants removes slows and makes you immune to total loss of control for one second.

2. Siphon Life skill enchants should be used to give a damaging aura around you and it slows opponents.

3. Warp Strike skill enchants reduce the cooldown of Warp Strike each time your Soulgorger minion deals damage.

4. Spiteful Sacrifice skill enchants makes Spiteful Sacrifice generate one additional Sacrificial Power.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - Greatly increases your critical hit chance and causes your critical hits to burn your enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.

3. Hellbound Desire - Increases damage and movement speed with bonus damage for a medium duration.

4. Wulfheort - Slashes enemies when they take damage and increases you, your allies', and your minions' attack speed.

5. Leviathan Tomb - Increases your damage for a duration and during its effect critical hits increase its damage bonus.

6. Blood Floe - This gem increases your damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes enemies to bleed.

7. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, increased movement speed (from its size increase), and gives temporary knockback immunity for a duration on cooldown.

8. Frozen Heart - Gives an absorb shield that chills enemies which lowers their attack speed and movement speed.

Note: The Wulfheort five star gem is strong for this build because it increases the attack speed of your Soulgorger minion.

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Greatly increases your critical hit chance and casts a damaging spike that causes the enemy to bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Viper's Bite - This damage over time gem is powerful early on and its effect can kill opponents after their cheat deaths.

5. Fervent Fang - Gives enemies a stacking damage taken increase each time they take damage.

6. Mourneskull - Great legacy gem that can be used to increase your damage and it deals damage but it's drop disabled.

7. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy PvP gem that gives increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Note: Pain Clasp is the best PvM two star gem for damage and Crimson Behelit is the best PvP two star gem.

Best 1 Star Starter Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye - Increases all of your damage and your critical hit chance but also increases your damage taken.

2. Everlasting Torment - A strong budget gem that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

3. Entropic Well - A powerful budget one star gem that greatly increases your skill damage and attack speed.

4. Faltergrasp - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical hits and greatly reduces their movement speed.

5. Respite Stone - This defensive one star gem reduces damage taken and increases your block chance below 50% life.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience Duskprowler with the Savior passive which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar can lower the cooldown of Savior from 75 seconds to 60 seconds but only Duskprowlers and Ash Sweepers can have 170+ Resilience. Lingering Wounds increases your damage but it can only be used on a Duskprowler if you have the Ignition passive which gives a chance to burn enemies.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for more damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any type of familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Guardian is the next best familiar passive because it heals you when you drop below 50% life. Innervate can reset one of the player's cooldowns, Steel Hide gives a chance to block occasionally, Precision gives critical hit chance to the familiar, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also desirable passives.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

You should prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and you should use a combination of Citrines and Topazes for potency and resistances in yellow sockets for the highest refinement. Potency increases harmful effects durations on enemies and resistances decrease harmful effects durations on you. Citrines for potency is preferred if you only care about damage but resistances come into play more in PvP fights. You should use your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires for increased armor and armor penetration in blue sockets. You can optionally combine all of your Rubies which give life into one or two Rubies and socket them into your equipment if they give more refinement. Normal gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement increases the attributes on your equipment.

Gem Notes

The fairly new Leviathan's Tomb five star gem deals more damage than the Fated Trail five star gem on nearly every build. The Wulfheort five star gem is strong for this build because it slashes enemies when they're damaged and increases you, your allies, and your minions' attack speed for a duration which includes your Soulgorger minion. The Blood Floe five star gem is a great gem when it's combined with multiple sources of critical hit chance and critical hit damage. When using increased critical hit chance legendary gems you should also consider reforging increased critical hit damage on your equipment with Reforge Stones for more damage. The Frozen Heart five star gem should be used for PvP for an absorb shield for improved survival and it also chills opponents which lowers their attack speed and movement speed.
