Landslide Primary Attack Druid Guide

The new Landslide Primary Attack Druid build now beats the Fire Tornado & Raven Swarm Druid for single target damage. This Druid build uses the Landslide primary attack along with Fire Tornado, Raven Swarm, Summon Oak Sage, and Thorn Armor. With this build, Fire Tornado deals damage on primary attacks and burns enemies, Raven Swarm deals damage on primary attacks and increases your movement speed, Summon Oak Sage deals deals damage on primary attacks and deals extra damage to burning enemies, and Thorn Armor creates an area of thorny vines around you that follows you and infects enemies with smolder seeds that damage burning enemies with the recommended essences.

Paragons & Legendary Skills: Landslide Primary Attack Druid Build

1. Slinger is the best damage paragon because it increases your damage when alternating primary attacks and skills.

2. Gladiator is the best PvP paragon tree for this build because it gives a cheat death and it helps with loss of control.

3. Vanquisher is the best paragon tree for increased magic find and gives increased damage and attack speed on kills.

4. Harbinger can be used for Erebban for an absorb shield, movement speed, and to move unhindered through enemies.

5. Survivor is recommended in Vanguard when you have a low charm because it has a cheat death that works in Vanguard.

6. The best legendary skill for this build is Lightning Rod which deals damage after hitting ten times in three seconds.

Best 5 Star Legendary Gems

1. Roiling Consequence - A strong gem that increases your critical hit chance and causes critical hits to burn enemies.

2. Blood-Soaked Jade - Gives increased damage, reduces damage taken below 50% life, and increases movement speed.

3. Hellbound Desire - Increases damage and movement speed with more increased damage for a six second duration.

4. Gloom Cask - Deals damage with your primary attacks on cooldown and increases your primary attack damage.

5. Blood Floe - A solid five star gem that increases damage, critical hit chance, critical hit damage, and causes bleed.

6. Colossus Engine - Gives increased skill damage, increased area of effect, temporary knockback immunity, and increased movement speed (from its size increase) for a medium duration with a 20 second cooldown.

7. Leviathan Tomb - Increases your damage for a duration and causes critical hits to increase its damage bonus.

8. Fated Trail (PvM) - Deals damage based on your maximum life, shatters enemies' armor, and immobilizes enemies.

9. Frozen Heart (PvP) - Gives an absorb shield and chills opponents which lowers their attack and movement speed.

Best 2 Star Legendary Gems

1. Pain Clasp - Gives high increased damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

2. Mother's Lament - Increases your critical hit chance and fires a blood spike that causes enemies to bleed.

3. Specter Glass - Increases the damage taken by enemies after critical hits and increases your critical hit chance.

4. Fervent Fang - Gives enemies a stacking damage taken increase and increases damage against bosses and elites.

5. Viper's Bite - A nice gem for early on that deals high damage over time if you have low legendary gems and resonance.

6. Mourneskull - This legacy gem increases your damage and deals damage to enemies but it's currently drop disabled.

7. Igneous Scorn - Can optionally be combined with critical hit chance legendary gems to deal damage on critical hits.

8. Crimson Behelit - A strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken that's drop disabled.

Note: Pain Clasp is the best two star gem for damage and Crimson Behelit is the best PvP two star gem.

Best 1 Star Legendary Gems

1. Berserker's Eye - Increases your damage and critical hit chance but also slightly increases your damage taken.

2. Ca'arsen's Invigoration - A great one star legendary gem for this build that increases your primary attack speed.

3. Everlasting Torment - A great budget option that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

4. Entropic Well - A strong budget one star legendary gem with increased skill damage and increased attack speed.

5. Surging Sea - A lower priority one star gem that has a stacking skill damage increase which stacks up to 10 times.

6. Faltergrasp (PvP) - Disables opponents' dash skills on critical hits and greatly reduces opponents' movement speed.

Note: The Berserker's Eye one star gem is a powerful gem that takes a ranked up 4 star gem to match its damage.

Best Familiars

1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience Duskprowler with the Savior passive skill which provides a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar can lower the cooldown of Savior from 75 seconds to 60 seconds but only Duskprowlers and Ash Sweepers can roll with 170+ Resilience. The Tenacity passive skill is important to lower the Duskprowler's shield cooldown. Lingering Wounds which increases your damage can only be used on a Duskprowler if you also have the Ignition passive for a chance to burn enemies which counts as a familiar status ailment.

2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which provides a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.

3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong, especially in PvP, because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for 3 seconds. They can also have 170+ Resilience which reduces the cooldown of Savior.

4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills as a budget option.

5. Rare Duskprowler - Guardian is the next best familiar passive because it can give a large heal when you drop below 50% life. Innervate gives a chance to reset a skill cooldown, Phalanx increases your damage and defenses, Precision gives familiars critical hit chance, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler absorb shield which are all also desirable.

Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems

Prioritize Tourmalines for added damage in red sockets and use a combination of Citrines and Topazes for potency and resistances in yellow sockets for the highest refinement. Potency increases harmful effects durations on enemies and resistances decrease harmful effects durations on you. Citrines for potency is preferred if you only care about damage but, resistances come into play more with PvP. You should also use your highest refinement Sapphires and Aquamarines which give increased armor penetration and armor in blue sockets. You can optionally combine all of your bound Rubies which give life into one or two Rubies and socket them into your equipment for more refinement. Normal gems give refinement based on their quality and refinement increases the attributes on the equipment the gems are socketed in.

Gem Notes

The Fated Trail five star gem is a solid legendary five star gem once you have high Vitality and resonance because its damage scales with your maximum life. The fairly new Leviathan's Tomb five star gem deals more damage than Fated Trail but it doesn't have the added benefit of immobilizing enemies. The Blood Floe five star gem is a great option when it's combined with multiple sources of increased critical hit chance and critical hit damage. When using multiple increased critical hit chance legendary gems you should also consider rolling increased critical hit damage on your equipment for more damage. The Frozen Heart five star gem is also recommended for PvP for an absorb shield and it chills opponents.
