Diablo Immortal: A Meta PvP Barbarian Build
PvP Cleave Primary Attack Barbarian Guide
The PvP Cleave Barbarian uses the Lacerate primary attack along with Cleave, Wrath of the Berserker, Undying Rage, and Sunder. Wrath of the Berserker is used with full uptime, gives a movement speed increase, reduces your damage taken, and shortens the duration of loss of control effects. This build is one of the best PvP Barbarian builds because it's strong for tanking and because it deals better AoE damage for fighting on idols than Demoralize Barbarians. The Undying Rage skill with the Exulted Demise essence is also very important because it lowers your life which increases your Cleave damage, gives an absorb shield equal to the amount of life lost, increases the range of your Cleave, and it gives a cheat death.

8. Frozen Heart - Gives an absorb shield for PvP for a medium duration when you are hit and chills opponents.
Note: Gloom Cask and Golden Firmament deal their own damage which makes them better for defensive tank builds.
Best 2 Star Legendary Gems
1. Crimson Behelit - Strong legacy gem with increased damage and reduced damage taken but it's drop disabled.
2. Pain Clasp - Great two star gem that increases damage against enemies that have a continuous damage effect on them.

Best Starter 1 Star Legendary Gems
1. Ca'arsen's Invigoration - A strong one star gem for primary attack builds that increases your primary attack speed.
2. Everlasting Torment - Budget gem that deals damage over time on critical hits and increases your attack speed.

4. Faltergrasp (PvP) - Disables opponents dash skills on critical hits and greatly reduces the opponents movement speed.

Best Familiars
1. Savior Duskprowler - Look for a 170+ Resilience Duskprowler with the Savior passive which gives a cheat death and temporary damage immunity. The 170+ Resilience on the familiar lowers the cooldown of Savior but only Duskprowlers and Ash Sweepers can have 170+ Resilience. The Tenacity passive is strong for lowering the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield, the Guardian passive is great for healing, and Steel Hide is great on tank builds for increased block chance.
2. Broodtalon/Skitterwight - Look for Savior which gives a cheat death and Lingering Wounds for increased damage.
3. Ash Sweeper - Ash Sweepers are strong in PvP because they damage nearby enemies and mark an enemy reducing their damage by 20% for three seconds. They're also capable of having 170+ Resilience to reduce the cooldown of Savior.
4. Any Savior Familiar - You can use any familiar with Savior for a cheat death and great passive skills as an alternative.
5. Rare Duskprowler - Guardian is the next best familiar passive because it provides healing when you drop below 50% life. Steel Hide occasionally gives increased block chance, Phalanx increases your damage and defenses, Precision gives critical hit chance to the familiar, and Tenacity lowers the cooldown of the Duskprowler shield which are also all desirable.
Note: Broodtalons and Skitterwights have status effects over a duration which increases the duration of Lingering Wounds.

Normal Gems
You should prioritize Rubies for maximum life in PvP in red sockets and Topazes for resistances in yellow sockets. You can also combine all of your bound Tourmalines and Citrines and use them in your equipment if they give higher refinement for more attributes. You should also socket all of your highest refinement Aquamarines and Sapphires in blue sockets which gives increased armor and armor penetration.

Gem Notes
The Haunt Coil five star gem is great on tank builds when you switch stances for an absorb shield, increased damage, and reduced damage taken. The Gloom Cask and Golden Firmament five star gems deal more damage than other options on this build because they deal their own damage and this is a tank build. The Colossus Engine five star gem is an important five star gem that gives increased skill damage, area of effect, movement speed (from its size increase), and temporary knockback immunity. The Frozen Heart five star gem is recommended for Barbarian builds in PvP to improve tanking because it gives an absorb shield and it chills opponents which lowers their attack speed and movement speed.
